Stroke Awareness of Physicians Working in a Tertiary Healthcare Institution

Aim: To investigate the knowledge and awareness of physicians working in tertiary healthcare institutions concerning stroke treatment approaches for ischemic stroke. Material Method: Fifty-nine with a mean age 35.4 years were included study. A survey consisting 12 questions taking less than 5 minutes to complete was delivered specialist research assistant who actively employed Adıyaman University Faculty Medicine Training Research Hospital signed voluntary informed consent form. Results: Of participating study, 66.1% (n=39) as specialists 33.9% (n=20) physicians.
